only sick death fiend deserves credit

sick death fiend
fan-fecking-tastic
if only there was more of urs and less of theirs then i would have given this submission better marks
oh well
you have plenty more flash for me to peruse
keep up the good work u are an inspiration to the rest of us

hmmm.........????

i am confused about the attention.. usually id say something encouragin about whatever it was that was actually intended, but since it was obvious that the artist can do better, and has done so on more than one occasion, it is also obvious that this peice took only a an hour or two do slap togethe then ill save my encouraging words

anyway i stick by my vote
iv seen better

Sir-CannabisClock responds:

bout an hour drawing the woman, 10 minutes drawing stamper, 5 minutes of voice acting, then 5 seconds of animation

damn thats good stuff

perfect, exceptional, beyond and above, well done
i only looked cos of the animators challenge this week, they mentioned it as an excelent example of camera angles, and on that alone this deserves to be shown repeatedly to friends and family
ur going on my list my friend
i eagerly await more

sprite movie,but somehow less

im not a fan of sprite movies, and becuase i have checked out another of ur flashs and also found it lacking, i thought it appropriate to look at some of the others that you have uploaded, to determine if i had been overly harsh in my estimation of your abilities.

the previous reveiw reminds me that although this animation was uploaded from one source, multiple sources exist as to it's creation so as follows

sprite creation 8/10
scripting 7/10
music 8/10

idea for the animation 6/10
construction and layout of the animation 7/10

i gave it a 5

not bad, i like rotoscoping

it had a nice feel to the camera angles and everything, reminiscent of waking life

don't let the nay sayers get ya down, rotoscoping is cool, just make the content more interesting, a little more staging to the segments that u rotoscope, a story more simple than guys bring another guy breakfast in bed would be a start.

also simplify ur technique, but ensure that u get the detail there, may be impossible on a smaller computer unless u break the flash down into scenes, and also the detail may not be there if your shooting ur movie from a smaller digital camera, rent a digital handycam, or save up for it.
all in all, i look forward to seeing further submissions.

fantastic

the sound to this animation was exactly what it required to take it to the next level
i enjoyed watching this one so much that i watched it again several times
keep up the good work

pure genius, funny and informative

tens all round(well it's not violent but thats not required now is it?)
no other flash animation so creatively takes on the challenge of producing something through the medium of flash so thoroughly as is illustrated through dfl, each episode not only entertains the audience but through interactive elements unique to the medium of flash allows for the audience to find out more about whats being said and done within the animation, ensuring that whatever tako is teaching us how to cook, we are not only left giggling but with that pure feeling of having actually learnt something of use in the real world, thus entertained and educated i am one happy customer waiting anxiously for the next dfl cooking show.

another brilliant peice of work well worth watchin

i love your work, no if or but about it.
this is the kind of work that should be used as an example to other artists and illustrators who have that little kernel of an idea for a story. brilliant.

interesting.......

not enough character developement, we don't know who these people are or what they want, the faceless corporation bit is tried and true but ya still gotta give us a hero or antihero to feel something about.
cliffhanger, naming it part 1 obviously means part 2 in the least is in the offing, hopefully i will remember this one enough to want to watch the part to when it comes out.
also would be more interested if there was definitively something planned for part two that will bemore interesting.

Kuoke responds:

In Part 1, There is no Hero, or Anti hero... Or is there?. The reason of all this was to lay out the storyline for the future, so that the future episodes will make sense.

Thank for reviewing!

This is what flash movies should be like.

not really about violence so no score there
not intended to be interactive, so no score there
humour was not intended, so no score there either
overall can be whatever i like so im gonna give you a 10 cos originality, passion, and excellence of execution are not fields listed for scoring.
Original story, brilliantly animated and of course delivered to us the consumer free of charge (unless you count internet cost).

This kind of animation deserves the most attention from people at large, as it shows immense talent, and a passion to tell a great story. anyone can animate a bunch of photoshopped pictures or make a stickfigure battle, what you are doing is entertainment equal to if not surpassing the standard required for air time on television, and if my voice was all it took then a movie offer would be in the offing.
top marks :))

An aspiring artist needs only two things passion and the time to realise that passion, I pray for both.
